The #39 O-ring is used on CO2 fire extinguishers from Amerex and Buckeye. Replace it whenever the valve is removed for recharge or hydrostatic testing.
Replace this O-ring any time the valve is removed from the cylinder, including during recharge, hydrostatic testing and six-year maintenance. Lightly lubricate the O-ring before installing to help it seat and seal properly.
