The #27 collar O-ring is one of the most common O-rings in portable extinguisher service. It seals the valve to the cylinder neck on dry chemical extinguishers from Kidde, Amerex, Buckeye, Badger and Flag, so one part covers a large share of the units on your route.
Replace this O-ring any time the valve is removed from the cylinder, including during recharge, hydrostatic testing and six-year maintenance. Lightly lubricate the O-ring before installing to help it seat and seal properly.
