The #29 collar O-ring fits dry chemical extinguishers from Amerex, Badger and Ansul. It seals the valve to the cylinder and should be replaced whenever the unit is opened for service.
Replace this O-ring any time the valve is removed from the cylinder, including during recharge, hydrostatic testing and six-year maintenance. Lightly lubricate the O-ring before installing to help it seat and seal properly.
