Katadyn Vario Water Microfilter

The Katadyn Vario water microfilter is a simple to use, compact and efficient backcountry drinking water filter for hiking, backpacking and other wilderness adventures.

The technology the Vario uses consists of three water filter levels: a high-performance glass fiber filter, a ceramic pre-filter that's adjustable according to the water quality, and an active charcoal filter for odor elimination.

The Vario uses a dual-piston pump to filter up to two liters of drinking water per minute if only using the glass fiber and charcoal filters. For dirtier water, insert the ceramic pre-filter for a bit slower but even cleaner drinking water. The pre-filter can be cleaned with the included cleaning pad to increase flow.
