The #28 O-ring is a replacement for Ansul part 428327, the valve body O-ring used on Ansul Sentry dry chemical extinguishers. It is a cost-effective alternative for service companies that maintain large numbers of Sentry units.
Replace this O-ring any time the valve is removed from the cylinder, including during recharge, hydrostatic testing and six-year maintenance. Lightly lubricate the O-ring before installing to help it seat and seal properly.
